This is geneous. Spont portraits are my absolute favorite type of photography. They rock my face off completely. First of all, you didn't take this completely square on. The camera was tilted just barely to give you the effect of a wider lens. Secondly, the ripple action rules. It's like the reaction to his curiosity, and you can tell this guy is crazy and curious just by looking at him and knowing him a little bit. Also the fact that the water reflects so well and that it was so sunny that the greenery behind him became overexposed that it actually sets a nice frame for him. It makes him appear much clearer and more important. Excellent, Holly. Fav for sure.
