Taken on my long hike today. I had a lot of stuff in me head, and usually the only thing that cheers me up is photography, so as u can see, i decided to go out and do something productive. I had the Mutemath song, "Reset" stuck in my head at the time. And ironcially today kind of felt like a reset. (could be the rain *dances*) Anyway, this picture, everytime i look at it, reminds me or a restart, for some reason. idk what it is, but i think, "reset" when i see it. Maybe that's just me...I gotta' admit--There's nothing quite like being completely alone, in a quiet, rural area, surrounded by snow, and the sound of an ice capped river rushing below. (and yes, i feel a bit better. Well, clearer would be the word i am looking for, i suppose.)
Nice Picture. It almost looks like Fall going into winter because of the orange grasses, but the washed out blue of the sky implies the coming of spring. Idk, for me, spring is always a sad time because it means summer will follow, and Winter (my favorite season) is over. Still, wonderful work as always Holly.

hmm.. spring time is always hard for me. I enjoy the weather, but hate the people. Winter usually is so morbid and dreary, yet i love the snow. It's so...idk..calm. Summer is where it's at tho. Nothing brings a smile to my face like a thunderstorm. Idk, this picture is really sad and happy at the same time for me. Sad because I need a reset, and happy because i can try and make it happen... idk, life is complicated.
